Montepulciano, ItalyFattoria Svetoni was commissioned by Pietro Leopoldo at the end of the 18th century and completed in the mid-19th century. In 1865 the Svetoni family, who became the owner of the estate shortly after national unity, began producing wine. After a few changes of ownership, the “ideal farm” (as it was defined) and the approximately 23 hectares of vineyards were purchased in 2017 by Podere Rubino Srl: thus begins a real bet, that of six friends united by the love for wine and for this land, who wanted to create a place where tradition, modernity and beauty can coexist.
The 16x6m swimming pool with infinity edge immersed in the garden is beautiful, where you can relax at the end of a day exploring the surrounding landscape.
The wellness area with Spa is exclusive and available by reservation only. It includes an emotional shower, hammam, sauna and relaxation area. An environment designed to rediscover the harmony of the senses, taking time for yourself and enjoying an herbal tea in total relaxation.
Everything revolves around the wine, indeed “above” the wine. Literally. In fact, just below the Villa there is a centuries-old cellar equipped with barriques and large barrels where, since 1865, our wines have been produced, matured and refined. Among these, the highest expression of our territory stands out: the Nobile di Montepulciano wine, the first historic Italian DOCG brand.

Fattoria Svetoni is located a few kilometers from Montepulciano, a pearl of the Renaissance perched on the top of a hill. It is a town of rare beauty, with elegant Renaissance buildings, ancient churches, beautiful squares and small hidden corners. Among the other jewels of this corner of Tuscany, the splendid Pienza, a UNESCO World Heritage Site also known as the "ideal" city of the Renaissance, and the other small villages of the Val d'Orcia, all characterized by a timeless charm such as San Quirico d'Orcia, Castiglione d'Orcia, Monticchiello and Montalcino.
